A Christmas Poem on Gratitude & Acceptance

As Christmas approaches near,
I pause to reflect on the year.
With gratitude, I’ve come to see,
All the blessings that surround me.
A loving family, dear friends,
The gift of health, a heart to care,
For all that’s good, my thanks I share.
This Christmas season, I accept,
The people who God has brought into my life,
I’ll let go of worries, fears, and strife.
With an open heart, I’ll welcome in,
The peace and love that Christmas brings,
The virtues to which the angels do sing.
So let this Christmas be a time,
To cherish loved ones, near and far,
And to accept ourselves, just as we are.
