We’re all excited about 2021, it’s a year full of possibilities and hope. Everybody has their own idea about what’s going to happen, but nobody’s really sure – that’s why it’s exciting! Why stop at imagining just one year though? What about the next one hundred years? More than face masks and vaccines, what might change?

One hundred years ago (1921), just after the Spanish Flu pandemic, several newspapers were publishing predictions for the future. Things they could only imagine are our reality today! Everything from temperature controlled homes, undersea tunnels, flying around the world to books that were read aloud and house cleaning robots! Of course things like giant glass domed cities packed full with monorails are still just visions, and a testament to their imagination.

Your kids vision of 2021 can be part of our new book!

Children have some of the most vivid imaginations. They’re not yet limited by “How”, “Why” or too much adult conditioning. Which is why we want primary school children across the world to share their vision & ideas for the future. Flying cars, moon holidays, teleporters, self heating clothes, crayons that never run out – whatever their ideas might be!

The ideas will be published in an illustrated book, highlighting some of the most unique ideas, as well as the differences and similarities of the ideas from across the globe.

It’s a really fun, imagination stretching exercise to do with your kids at home (or in class). You can submit your ideas online here & there’s a printable (pdf) idea-sheet you can use with your kids here too.

Have fun dreaming about tomorrow with your kids!
